About

I am a Marine Biologist with a Master’s degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences and over 20 years of experience in marine conservation and sustainable fisheries projects. I have led multidisciplinary teams in the design of strategic plans and the implementation of innovative projects in collaboration with fishing communities, government agencies, academia, and civil society organizations.

My expertise focuses on fisheries management, promoting gender equality, capacity building, and fostering community resilience. I have authored more than 40 scientific and outreach publications, aimed at documenting and sharing the challenges faced by fishing communities and marine resources. These publications seek to transform research into practical actions that promote the sustainability of marine ecosystems and fisheries.
