I am a bat biologist who works in bat conservation and with subterranean roosts (mines and caves) in the North of Mexico. I am an early career researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León and my research line is about bats, caves, mines and their ecology for conservation.

Last year, I did 2 workshops about how to identify bats and how to do bat conservation in caves and mines.
I am based in Nuevo León, but we are developing a handbook that everyone interested can read about how to reduce and avoid bat disturbance in their roosts. This information can be applied in Sonoran roosts, as previously debated in the workshops that I gave in Hermosillo 2023. However, we still need to talk with other interested people of the region.
