A Bridge Over the Wall
N-Gen, now more than ever, remains committed to a vision of the Sonoran Desert that knows no boundaries. Forces are at play that threaten our fundamental values and aim to physically reshape the borderlands. These will be hard times. However, for those that see bridges where others see walls, there will always be paths forward. This network of nearly 600 of the leading regional thinkers, creators, researchers, managers, and artists is balanced evenly on both sides of the border. We are a linkage across an increasingly divided landscape. Now is the time to come in close and band together, using our life’s work to refute an ignorant stereotype of la frontera. N-Gen is your community and a forum for us to work together and develop solutions to the challenges around us. The N-Gen board is actively working on a series of actions to support our collective efforts. We welcome ideas and inspirations. Let us not feel isolated or adrift, our community is our strength. In solidarity we will continue in the march to promote a conservation ethic that matches the grandeur of this landscape.
