About

I am a student at the University of Arizona studying Environmental Sciences. I am currently working with a post-doc, Angela Quiros, on a project about the Zostera beds in estuaries in Baja California. We are studying the biodiversity of the invertebrates in these beds of seagrass and how it is affected by humans. Angela Quiros has collected many samples from these Zostera beds and has hired me and another intern to work on labeling and identifying the invertebrates found in these samples. We hope to see if humans have an effect on the diversity and productivity of these seagrass beds.
