I have been the plant ecologist at Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument since 1994. My responsibilities are varied and include studying rare plants and accelerated erosion, mapping vegetation and land type associations, and managing invasive plants. Recently my efforts have been put towards mapping unauthorized vehicle routes and restoring damaged lands.
