Linguist and social anthropologist, from the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia (Mexico City). My work in fisheries and marine conservation began in 2011, collaborating with non-governmental organizations in different process for sustainable fisheries in the Gulf of California and more recently in the Yucatán Peninsula. I’m interested in subjects around capacity building, governance and the resilience of fishing communities and institutions in front of fisheries management challenges.
