Researchers

I work for the University of Arizona College of Science doing science communications and outreach, and I’m based at the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium in Tucson. In addition to producing multimedia exhibits and videos, I recently wrote and produced the Mt. Lemmon Science Tour app, a free audio guide that connects the amazing natural science of the Sky Islands to the vistas and habitats that users see as they drive the up the spectacular Catalina Highway as they ascend the Santa Catalina Mountains just north of Tucson. The Tour takes users to the top of Mt. Lemmon, the highest peak in the Catalinas (9,157ft) and reveals the scientific wonders of this region, including the Sonoran Desert.
