| About | Alexis is a Senior Manager with the Oceans Program at the Environmental Defense Fund. She works with small-scale fisheries around the world. Her work is largely focused on understanding the dynamics of fisheries systems in order to design long-lasting solutions, with a focus on small-scale fisheries governance and implementation. Before coming to EDF, Alexis was a Knauss Fellow with the NMFS Office of International Affairs. She holds an MAS in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation from Scripps Institution of Oceanography and a B.S. in Biology and Philosophy from Boston College. |
