Researchers

I’m Magali Ramírez Zúñiga, a marine biologist from UABCS and a graduate student in Marine and Limnological Sciences at UNAM.
In recent years, I have worked on the research of coastal ecosystems in the Gulf of California and the Mexican Pacific. I have coordinated rocky reef monitoring expeditions, led research on arid mangroves, and participated in studies on seagrasses.
Currently, I’m working on the implementation of the Blue Carbon Program, combining ecological monitoring, remote sensing, and spatial modeling to strengthen science-based conservation.
