Researchers

I have been studying transborder issues related to food sovereignty, migration, and local sustainability through my undergraduate degree. I followed this up by working on the Sin Maíz No Hay País campaign in Mexico City, helping to protect native corn varieties. While not currently in the southwest, I work with Peruvian shepherds on a wolf-livestock coexistence project, of which there are many similar projects in the surrounding areas of the Sonoran Desert. I think there are implications of this work that are important for the region.
