About

My research focuses on how wild bee communities respond to variable weather patterns, habitat loss, and fragmentation. I’m particularly interested in documenting biodiversity through formal monitoring and community science platforms, such as iNaturalist. I am interested in documenting bee biodiversity in the Sonoran Desert, one of the world’s hotspots for bee diversity and a critical region for biodiversity research.
