| About | Through collaborations with multiple research teams, Alex Turner’s visual art explores the motivations behind scientific inquiry and the implications of a political edge space in an otherwise continual natural landscape. Merging photography and various imaging technologies, Turner’s work invites viewers to contemplate the profusion of cultural, sociopolitical and environmental agendas that overlap in the borderlands of the Southwest. He is currently pursuing an MFA in photography at the University of Arizona. |
