About

I’ve fallen in love with the Sonoran Desert since I first came on a family road trip. Since then I’ve pursued a scientific career in marine ecology and coral reef restoration in the city of La Paz, Baja California Sur. Originally I studied a degree in environmental sciences in the deepening area of socioecological systems management. My main interest and goal has always been to understand environmental problems, use science in trying to solve them and mediate interactions between ecosistems and the people that benefit from them. At the moment I work in projects of marine ecosystem monitoring, coral reef restoration and marine ecology of the Gulf of California, specifically at the Cabo Pulmo National Park and the Archipiélago of Espíritu Santo National Park, hoping to preserve it’s beauty for the rest of the world to admire it.
