Researchers

I’m a nature-based painter, wildlife photographer, and writer with a deep focus on avian conservation. For the past seven years, I’ve contributed as a photographer to brown pelican survey studies, primarily in the Gulf of California. My work combines artistic expression with field-based documentation to help raise awareness about coastal and migratory bird species.

I also serve as the social media manager and photographer for Pelican Science, a nonprofit dedicated to pelican research and conservation. Currently, we’re expanding our collaborative efforts on migratory bird studies across Baja California and Sonora, Mexico. I am passionate about conservation work and public environmental education through the inclusion of the arts, scientific collaboration and culture.
