Researchers

I research migration and boundary enforcement in southern Arizona with an emphasis on the use of the Sonoran desert to maximize hardship for undocumented border crossers. I have also published on social movements and transnational solidarity work. An area of particular geographic interest is the binational Altar Valley between Arizona and Sonora.
