I’m currently working in the San Miguel and Zanjón River in Central Sonora. My research is about the detection of land use and land cover change in this region with the application of remote sensing tools and geographic information system. I am also trying to define what the posible causes of this land change are and the consequences it could bare on the natural system. For further research, I’d like to work with desert tortoises and thermal niche in the Alamos, Sonora region.
