She is a Doctor of Science in Use, Management and Preservation of Natural Resources by the Center for Biological Research of the Northwest. He carried out two postdoctoral stays, the first in the Interdisciplinary Center of CICIMAR-IPN and the second in the UABCS. It has been distinguished by the National System of Researchers level I. Currently belongs the Thematic Networks CONACYT Sustainable Development, Natural Protected Areas, Oceans, Climate and Global Change and Water Management and Research. She is the author of 23 original research articles published in national and international journals. He has published 3 books and 30 book chapters. She is currently attached to the Autonomous University of the West, Mazatlán Unit in the Academic Department of Economic-Administrative Sciences.
