The education department at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden has recently opened the Texas Native Plant Lab, a program for school groups (children grades 3-8) which focuses on conservation of native desert plants and their horticultural applications. While in its infancy, we look to grow our programming around this space to include a wider range of conservation-oriented topics.My personal experience is in K-12 education and teacher professional development, with a M.A. in Anthropology (applied cultural) and B.A. in Anthropology and Spanish.Personal blog: cactguy.tumblr.com
