| About | Debbie Colodner is the Director of Conservation Education and Science at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. She gave up her own research work (in biogeochemistry, mostly in the oceans) to become an educator and administrator 15 years ago, but has recently been tasked with overseeing the Conservation Science activities at the Desert Museum. She is looking forward to this conference as an opportune crash course on the current state and future directions of Sonoran Desert research and an important input into the research vision for the Desert Museum. Debbie received her PhD in Chemical Oceanography from MIT/Woods Hole in what now seems like the Paleocene, and is looking forward to fostering the work of Sonoran Desert researchers in her new position. |
