Dr. Daniel Galindo Espinosa is a professor at Universidad Autónoma de Baja California Sur (UABCS). He studied Marine Biology at UABCS, have a master degree on Marine Resources Management and a doctorate on Marine Sciences by Marine Sciencies of Interdiscliplinary Center of the National Polythecnic Institute (CICIMAR-IPN). Since 2000, he has been teaching marine ecology, general biology, general ecology, terrestrial wildlife, and birdwatching to undergraduate students, and conservation biology for graduate students. Daniel has been an instructor for more than 35 birdwatching workshops funding by municipal and state governments, universities and local and international NGO´s. Also, he had coordinate monitoring and conservation plans for shorebirds and lanbirds in México and Patagonia. His main research interest is on migratory, winter and breeding ecology of shorebirds.
