Social research in community health and climate change impacts, mostly but not exclusively in indigenous communities. Health promotion and intervention programs in women’s health and tuberculosis. Populations include native indigenous and immigrant indigenous in Sonora. I also carry out program evaluationsI work with Gente de I’itoi A.C., CIADES, and occasionally Consejo Tradicional de Pueblos Indios de Sonora, and the InterActivity Foundation.I am a board member of Gente de I’toi, AC. That website is pending, a few weeks from publication on the web, should be up by July 1, 2014. We carry out local development projects in the broadest sense of the term. I also work with K’ekchi Maya in Peten, Guatemala in acupuncture training. That work can be seen at www.guamap.net.
