About | PhD Student in the Sciences program of MYDCI at the Faculty of Sciences, UABC. My research focuses on the study of the diversity of gall wasps associated with oaks of the Baja California Peninsula. I specialize in macrophotography of native flora and insects from northwestern Baja California, using photography as a tool for science communication to highlight the biodiversity of our region. For over six years, I have been studying and documenting the flora of northwestern Baja California, which has provided me with a solid background in recognizing and illustrating the unique characteristics of these species. Through this work, I seek to promote awareness and conservation of local ecosystems by sharing the region’s natural richness with the community and contributing to its preservation. |
