| About | I was graduated in Lic. Biology at the University of Aguascalientes in 2009 and obtained the degree of Master of Science in biotic resources at the University of Queretaro in 2011. Later I worked for three years in the Mexican wolf reintroduction program in Mexico. Likewise, in 2014, I became involved in the implementation of the project of connectivity in the Sierra Madre Occidental for species at risk. My aim interest is the conservation biology, landscape ecology, wildlife management, restoration of ecosystems and human-wildlife conflicts. Throughout my academic background as a biologist I could strengthen my knowledge in areas such as the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) application of techniques for monitoring wildlife; such as telemetry (air and ground), placing camera traps and data analysis. Also, I managed to gain experience in social management with farmers, landowners and agencies. Right now, I am doing my PhD in Sustainable Science at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) with focus on landscape conectivity involving economic, social and ecological perspectives |
