N-Gen Awards

In 2024, the N-Gen community will recognize and celebrate the remarkable work happening in the greater Sonoran Desert region.

We need your help! Please nominate the individuals, organizations, or works you believe deserve to be known and celebrated in the categories below. Nomination deadlines have been extended and are now open until March 18th, 2024!

All nominations will be public so we can all learn of the work happening in the region.

Any work or actions that address the mainland Sonoran Desert, the Baja California peninsula, the Gulf of California, and the US-Mexico borderlands are eligible.

Career Recognition Awards

N-Gen will honor four individuals with career recognition awards at the 2024 Summit for their remarkable contributions to our knowledge and conservation of the Sonoran Desert.

Most Impactful Community Conservation Effort

The Most Impactful Community Conservation Effort recognizes the collective work of a group of collaborators and/or citizens whose work has and continues to better the community where it is focused. Any projects since 2015 focused on any discipline are eligible.
