Currently, I am studying a master degree at CIBNOR (Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste) in La Paz, Baja California Sur. I am interested in organic agriculture and because of this, I looked for further education in agriculture in arid lands. My subject of study is the analysis of soil fertility using microbiological indicators in an area previously degraded in the Sonoran Desert. This area has been restored through the reforestation with native species and the assistance of beneficial microorganisms for its establishment.
