I’m a biologist, and I have a master’s in Environmental Biology.
I am currently studying my PhD in Biosciences in Universidad de Sonora; I have worked with Plant Ecophysiology in the Sonoran Desert, and with Ecosystem Dynamics in the Mediterranean Shrubland of Baja California.
My master’s dissertation was about contrasting remote and close perspectives of primary productivity of closed shrubland.
My PhD project is about ecosystem dynamics, specifically phenological changes, productivity and its relation with other traits.
My interests are about how desert plants respond to environmental change, and how their functional traits are involved in relation with abiotic variables and how they adapt to semi-arid and arid places.
