About | I have worked on both sides of the Mexico-US border for over 20 years, mainly focused on inventory, conservation and management of protected species like jaguar, ocelot, Cactus-ferruginous pygmy owl, and Santa Catalina rattlesnake, as well as habitat restoration and environmental education. My work experience expands from the Sierra Madre Occidental to the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico, to Arizona and New Mexico’s Sky Islands and Sonoran Desert, in the U.S. Southwest. I work as a Senior Program Coordinator of the Local Outings Program with Sierra Club. I am a strong advocate for cross-border collaboration, and highlighting the intersection of environmental and social justice. |
