Researchers

I am a PhD student tracking blacktip sharks (Carcharhinus limbatus) and silky sharks (Carcharhinus falciformis) in the Gulf of California and Mexican Pacific. The goal of my research is determine how beneficial current marine protected areas are for sharks, as they are highly mobile animals and not always within areas of protection from fisheries.
