As a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Geography and Development at the University of Arizona, I am focused on how adaptation plans frame social vulnerability in Tucson, with a specific emphasis on vulnerabilities related to food, water, and energy access.As a staff social scientist at the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS), a NOAA-funded research group in the Institute of the Environment at the University, I am leading a 5-year evaluation of the CLIMAS program to better understand its impact on improving the region’s ability to respond to climate variability and change.Research keywords: urban food studies, the nexus of food-water-energy-climate, climate justice, political ecology
