About

I am originally from the state of Sinaloa, I studied a degree at the Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa and I have a Ph.D. from the UNAM. Currently, I work in a company that develops wildlife monitoring projects within the region of Sonora Desert. My research work is focused on undesrtand the bird-plant interactions ecology, migration, feeding and territorial behavior of the hummingbird community and also in the ecology of the bird community. In 2012, I participated in the student Internships for the conservation of hummingbirds in the Sonoran Desert with Hummingbird Monitoring Network. I would like to work in the agricultural areas that correspond to the Sonoran Desert in Sinaloa. With this, we can contribute to the knowledge of the impact of agriculture on the bird community in this little-studied region.
