Hi! my name is Elizabeth Brassea, I am a Ph. D. student in Use, Management, and Conservation of Natural Resources certified at the Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas del Noroeste S.C. (CIBNOR), La Paz, B.C.S. My main research interest is focused on the physiological mechanisms involved in the response of an organism to disturbances, including depletion of prey resources, pollution, and habitat degradation, as well as the ecological characteristics that shape vertebrates’ adaptation processes against environmental threats. Specifically, I am interested in biomarkers of environmental disturbance that allow to know communities’ vulnerability and to identify the agents that participate in adaptive processes.
