I am currently the Communications and Development Coordinator for CEDO, the Intercultural Center for the Study of Deserts and Oceans. Previously I have worked for the Center for Biodiversity & Marine Conservation in La Paz, Baja California, and did my undergraduate studies at the Prescott Field Station in Bahia Kino, Sonora. I am a fine artist, illustrator, creative writer, science writer, photographer and videographer with a MA in Marine Conservation from the University of Victoria, Wellington, NZ. In my work and in my personal time I have taken of a wide variety of projects aimed at communicating science-based conservation biology pertaining to the Sonoran Desert and Gulf of California eco-region.
