N-Gen Tucson

Starting with the founding of the Carnegie Desert Laboratory at Tumamoc Hill in 1903, Tucson has been known as the birthplace and a central home for desert studies. N-Gen Tucson is a forum of connection for those whose love of and work in the desert pervades their life and choices. The rich artistic, NGO, university, foodie, and conservation community is alive and expanding. N-Gen Tucson events aim to allow for cross-pollination between the diverse Tucson community and set a fun and engaging stage that can lead to research and conservation collaborations.

Based at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum N-Gen Tucson will offer a forum for presentations, discussions, workshops aimed at sharing ideas and knowledge, generating new collaborations, and setting research priorities with the broader goal of increasing the conservation impact of our combined efforts. In addition, the third Friday of every month will be N-Gen night at local watering holes. Check back here or the N-Gen Facebook page for more details.
