It is an initiative designed to connect experienced individuals (mentors) working in the Sonoran Desert with those seeking personal or professional development (mentees), through guided sessions over a set period.
We currently have 44 professionals with experience in various thematic areas related to the Sonoran Desert, committed to supporting others’ development and available to accompany mentees throughout the program.
We currently have 44 individuals who are starting their careers—students, entrepreneurs, or professionals—seeking specific guidance to develop skills, projects, or advance in their professional journey.
Access to practical experience, personalized guidance, development of soft and technical skills, expanded professional networks, and support in achieving academic or career goals.
The opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen leadership and communication skills, expand your professional network, and contribute to the growth of future generations.
The program will run from June 1 to December 31, 2025. Sessions may be held monthly, biweekly, or as mutually agreed upon by mentor and mentee.
Through a matching process based on interests, goals, areas of expertise, language, geographic location, and professional/personal compatibility.
During the first week of July, a satisfaction survey will be sent via email to assess whether the match has been effective or if any intervention is needed. If necessary, participants will be contacted individually to evaluate a potential reassignment.
Ideally, at least three sessions. However, we encourage participants to meet regularly. Let’s keep the conversation going!
None. The program is completely free of charge.
Through satisfaction surveys, evaluation of goals defined at the beginning of the mentorship, and feedback from both parties at the end of the process.
The approach is flexible. Objectives, goals, and activities will be defined jointly by mentor and mentee. Activities may include one-on-one sessions, workshops, goal tracking, career planning, project development, and access to exclusive events or resources.
Confidentiality, attendance at scheduled sessions, mutual respect, and fulfillment of the objectives agreed upon together.
Yes. As long as you meet the participation criteria, you are eligible to apply for both roles.
