About

I got my PhD at Arizona State University in 2020 with a focus on the evolution, population viability, and biogeography of the Mammilloid Clade in Cactaceae in the Sonoran Desert and Baja California. I am currently a plant ecology postdoctoral researcher at the Desert Lab on Tumamoc Hill, via the University of Arizona. We are using 60 years of long-term saguaro data to investigate establishment patterns at the microsite scale, and intend to synthesize several existing data sets to better understand saguaro demography and possible future trajectories in a context of rapid environmental change.
